Former Gwinnett County Commissioner Jace Brooks endorses State Rep. Farooq Mughal for Georgia HD 105

Dacula, Georgia, 10/15/2024 - Jace Brooks, a long-standing leader in the Republican Party and former Gwinnett County Commissioner, endorsed State Representative Farooq Mughal for Georgia State House District 105 (Buford, Dacula, Lawrenceville) on October 15th, 2024.

In a statement, former Commissioner Brooks said:

"Farooq Mughal is a seasoned leader with the ethical values and experience required to represent Gwinnett at the State Capitol. I've known Farooq for a decade. He has served as chair of the Gwinnett County Community Outreach and the Gwinnett Transit Review Committee. He collaborates in a bipartisan fashion with Republicans to address issues such as job creation, transportation, economic development, tax reduction, and support for small businesses," stated Jace Brooks, former Gwinnett County Commissioner.

Farooq Mughal, the Democratic nominee for State House District 105, responded:
